Shared Leadership at Henry Ford College

Shared Leadership at Henry Ford College is a process of collaboration and communication among all stakeholders including employee groups, students and the board of trustees. Through this process, the College shares in decision-making and makes recommendations. Shared Leadership at HFC is a dynamic, cooperative process that seeks input and recommendations from all stakeholders to make data-driven decisions to best achieve our mission and goals. This participatory model focuses on respectful, honest and transparent shared decision-making. Shared Leadership consists of four councils: Academic, Operations and Coordinating and the Faculty Organization and Senate. The work of these bodies helps HFC to transform lives and build better futures by providing an outstanding educational experience for all students.
