This club encourages meditation as a form of relaxation and a way to relieve stress. The club will promote and encourage the practice of mindfulness among HFC students. The Mindfulness Club will organize special events and promote resources related to mindfulness for HFC students.
WE MEET EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FOR 30 MINUTES OF MEDITATION. THE MONDAY SESSION IS AT 11:15AM IN M-119 AND THE WEDNESDAY SESSION IS AT 5:15PM IN THE INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY CLASSROOM (N-011) IN THE BASEMENT OF THE CAMPUS SAFETY BUILDING (N). All are welcome. Meditation cushions and chairs will be available. Due to the secular nature of our mindfulness practice and our educational context, please do not bring any religious/spiritual objects or paraphernalia to the sittings.
